my lip is almost completely healed. yesterday it had a blackened crater, today it has a light scab. this is awesome. i will be ever so nice to my lips now.
i emailed joe today. he was happy to engage in an email chat, but he was also sounding like he wanted out of that hellhole. but he's smart and will no doubt figure out how to stay there and keep his sanity, even though everyone makes it SOO hard.
today at work this one piping designer didn't like the way i made his corrections. it didn't look like he took any pride in the drawings in the first place, so i did one thing different than his personal preference, and made one mistake. then i acted like his personal preference was dumb, and he wasn't nice about the mistake. actually, he made a mistake and i tried to fix it, but didn't fix it right. i ignored him easily. then i started setting up isogen so i wouldn't have to deal with such awful spools again. isogen is slightly monstrous, it took the it guy three months to set it up. i'm hoping to mash something together soon. hope i didn't break anything though. i have a backup of all the original settings that work, but today after it crashed i restored all the settings and it kept crashing. hope a good night sleep helps it.
